|“Sweet n Sour Pepper Mushroom”|
“Sweet n SourPepper Mushroom” is a is quick stir fry dish, prepared with mushrooms, bell peppers, onions seasoned with crushed pepper and honey. A very simple and easy dish prepared with few ingredients. This sweet and sour pepper mushroom serves as a great week night dinner option, tastes great with rice.
Mushroom, sliced – 10 – 12 pcs
Mixed bell pepper, cubed – 1 cup (I have used red, green, orange, and yellow bell peppers, not only do they add colour to the dish but also add flavor)
Onion, sliced – 1 medium
Garlic, sliced – 2-3 (fat ones)
Tomatoes, cubed – 1 medium
Black pepper corn, crushed – 1 teaspoon
Tomato ketchup – 1 tablespoon
Dark soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
Vinegar – 1 teaspoon
Green chilli sauce – 1 teaspoon
Honey – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tablespoon
Heat oil in a kadhai or wok, add the sliced garlic and add the sliced onions, fry for 2-3 minutes and once the onions start to change colour add the sliced mushrooms fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chopped bell peppers and mix well and add the chopped tomatoes.Give it a good stir and add tomato ketchup, dark soy sauce , green chilli sauce and crushed pepper corn. Check the salt and if required add accordingly.
Mix all ingredients well and cook on high flame . Add honey and vinegar, mix well and turn off the heat.
